Mindfullness and Keeping Active

As ever at times like these we need to think about children's well-being and how to make sure as much as we are ensuring that children are being educationally stimulated, that their emotional well-being is also being cared for.

Samantha Dorrance was a children's TV presenter for the past 10 years and some may well know her as Tootsie, Mr Tumbles best friend on CBeebies.

She has created a positive pop band for children called @sammyandthesparks. They have written some fun pop songs and home schooling materials designed to boost children's wellbeing.

The British Red Cross have created a kindness calendar to help children learn about the importance of being kind to themselves and encourage them to share their kindness with others. They can record daily acts of kindness and review all they have achieved at the end of each week.

There are 10 activities to accompany the calendar and children and facilitators can also add their own.
