Momentum - Holiday Club
Fri 24 Jun 2022Mr Simcock is excited to announce that he will be running Momentum Holiday Clubs, which will be running at Cranford Park Academy this summer. The cost of living crisis has forced a lot of families in the area to work longer hours or take up second jobs just to get by. With the hope to help families to find affordable childcare I have started Momentum holiday clubs.
With this in mind, all children who attend The Park Federation have been given a five pound a day discount. The when added to other discounts and Tax free childcare means that you could get 7 hours of childcare for under 14 pounds! And a healthy lunch will be provided too!
We will have many topics to experience from history to science. We have different cultures to explore from around the world. Club activities link to these topics through; arts, crafts, different languages to learn and develop, debates, singing, drama, dancing, and storytelling.
We also provide; holiday homework support, multi-sports, free play, a reading and relax area, and messy games.
OUR VISION IS to encourage school aged children to keep the momentum gained from school learning up throughout the holidays.
HOW WE DO THIS is to help develop and inspire children to want to learn in a relaxed, stress free environment. Whilst also promoting self-esteem, a joy of learning as well as developing good social skills, flexibility and adaptability.
WHO AM I? I have experience of running holiday clubs for 17 years as well as being an educational professional for the last 16 years. I started my educational company, Sims Education Ltd, three years ago to deliver a holistic approach to education.
Week 1: Monday 25th July - Friday 29th July
Week 2: Monday 1st August – Friday 5th August
Week 3: Monday 8th August – Friday 12th August
Week 4: Thursday 18th August - Friday 19th August
Week 5: Monday 22th August – Friday 26th August
If you have any questions feel free to email me at simseducationltd@gmail.com with any questions, I would be more than happy to answer them.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Individual Photos Monday 6th June
Tue 24 May 2022On Monday 6th June, the school photographers will be here taking individual photographs of all children from Nursery through to Year 6. Year 6 will also have a year group photo taken as part of the leaver's photo pack that will be on offer.
All Nursery children will be brought over to school for their photographs to be taken during their morning / afternoon session on this day.
Please ensure your child comes to school smartly dressed wearing the correct uniform including their school sweatshirt or cardigan on this day as this looks better against the background of the photograph. Please do not come to school wearing PE kits on this day.
